Yancheng City has a solid basis for metal material industry. In recent years, we have been making full efforts in developing new metal material industry and promoting transformation and upgrading of traditional industries based on our advantageous industrial basis, with special attention directed at major projects. From January 2015 to October 2015, the new metal material industry of Yancheng City realized a sales volume of RMB 7,565,000,000 as indicated by invoices, which is a 13.6% increase compared with previous year. Meanwhile, accelerated progress is being made on the project of annual production of 2,000,000 tons of stainless steel sheet and annual production of 1,200,000 tons of nickel-iron alloy by Jiangsu Delong Nickel Co., Ltd. We will concentrate our efforts in developing the whole industrial chain encompassing stainless steel finished materials, alloy materials, high-class stainless steel products, logistics, warehousing and transaction centers, and stainless steel research institution. In addition, we will construct a stainless steel product industrial park, and build a national stainless steel materials industrial base and market. Yancheng City welcomes investors and constructors to take part in the projects of steel for fundamental components in advanced manufacturing, high performance maritime work steel, steel for high-speed high-haul rail traffic, and super-strength stainless steel for special equipment.
