On March 10th, the first offshore pile foundation drilling of Hangzhou Bay Railway Bridge of Nantong-Suzhou-Jiaxing-Ningbo High-speed Railway was started, marking the official commencement of the offshore engineering of the world’s longest sea-crossing high-speed railway bridge. This also indicates that in the future, taking the high-speed railway from Yancheng to places such as southern Jiangsu and Zhejiang will be more convenient and efficient.

Nantong-Suzhou-Jiaxing-Ningbo High-speed Railway is one of the main frameworks of the “eight vertical and eight horizontal” national high-speed railway network, an important component of the coastal railway passenger transport corridor, and the backbone of the Yangtze River Delta intercity railway network. Yancheng-Nantong high-speed railway is an important part of the first longitudinal coastal railway of China’s “eight vertical and eight horizontal” high-speed railway network, and it is also an important transportation line connecting the construction of the “the Belt and Road Initiative” and the development of the “Yangtze River Economic Belt”. In the future, with the seamless connection between the Yancheng-Nantong High Speed Railway and the Nantong-Suzhou-Jiaxing-Ningbo High-speed Railway, China’s coastal railway arteries will be further improved, and Yancheng citizens’ travel will usher in another great advantage.
