On March 15th, our province held a meeting to convey, learn, and implement the gist of the National Two Sessions. Xin Changxing, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress, conveyed Xi Jinping’s important speech during the deliberation of the Jiangsu delegation at the first session of the 14th National People’s Congress and the gist of Xi Jinping’s important speech at the 2 Sessions of the National People’s Congress, and put forward requirements for learning and implementing the gist. He emphasized that it is necessary to deeply study and implement Xi Jinping’s important speech and the spirit of the National Two Sessions, firmly grasp the general requirements, goals, and blueprint of Jiangsu’s work on the new journey, act as an example, demonstrate, and take the decisive responsibility of leading the way, work hard, forge ahead, firmly promote high-quality development to take the lead, better “shoulder new missions and write new chapters”, and constantly contribute to the building of a strong country and the great cause of national rejuvenation.

Xu Kunlin, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor, presided over the meeting. Zhang Yizhen, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Political Consultative Conference, conveyed the spirit of the first meeting of the 14th National People’s Political Consultative Conference, and Fan Jinlong, Executive Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress, conveyed the spirit of the first meeting of the 14th National People’s Congress. The meeting was held in the form of a video conference, with Yancheng setting up a sub venue to organize listening and watching, and the municipal leading officials participated the event.
