On the afternoon of January4 , Yancheng Hi-tech Zone and Sinovel Wind Power Technology Group signed an agreement to further deepen cooperation.

The aim of this cooperation is to give full play to and rely on local advantages of resource, geographic location and transportation, vigorously develop clean energy like wind energy, rapidly promote the development of wind resources within the Yandu region (including onshore centralized wind resource development and distributed wind resource development, etc.), and build a comprehensive industrial base for technological innovation and intelligent manufacturing, to complete the construction of ultra-high-power sea and land testing and validation platformscluster, and rapidly promote the our onshore wind power technology upgrading and industrial upgrading. The co-operation adopts the form of “joint venture co-operation”, and a wind power company will be jointly set up, responsible for the development, construction and operation of projects. The goal of the next three years is to increase industrial output value of more than 10 billion yuan, in order to achieve national “dual-carbon” goal, and make more contributions to the green development of Jiangsu Province, and the construction of green and low-carbon development demonstration zone in Yancheng.
