On the evening of January 9, the opening ceremony of 2025 “Charming Jiangsu - Happy New Year” Winter Culture and Tourism Consumption Promotion Event hosted by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and Yancheng Municipal People’s Government was held in Huai Opera Town ofJiulongkou,  Jianhu County. ChenZhongwei, Vice Governor, Liu Jian, Deputy Secretary General of the provincial government, Yang Zhichun, Secretary ofDirector-Generalof the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, Zhang Mingkang, Deputy Party Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayorattended the opening ceremony.

In order to continue to enrich the supply of high-quality cultural products, create more consumption scenarios, improve and expand cultural and tourism consumption services, during the Spring Festival, our city will launch 178 events covering cultural and artistic performances, cultural and museum exhibitions, holiday consumption promotion,etc., as well as 35 preferential measures to boost tourism in winter includingreducing and exempting scenic area ticket, extending the opening hours of museums, issuing vouchers, and free tour guide services.
