On December 29, the 9th Plenary Session of the 8th CPC Yancheng Municipal Committee was held. Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the session thoroughly studies how to implement the key decisions from the 20th CPC Central Committee’s 3rd Plenary Session, the Central Economic Work Conference, and the 8th Plenary Session of the 14th CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and Jiangsu Provincial Economic Work Conference. The meeting reviewed Yancheng’s 2024 achievements, set development goals for 2025, and called on the entire city to deepen reforms, promote green and low-carbon growth, and accelerate progress toward high-quality implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan, advancing Chinese modernization in Yancheng.

The session was chaired by the Standing Committee of the CPC Yancheng Municipal Committee. Zhou Bin, Secretary of the CPC Yancheng Municipal Committee, delivered a keynote speech, while Zhang Mingkang, Deputy Secretary and Mayor, outlined detailed plans for economic development.
