On the morning of February 20, Yancheng Municipal People’s Government signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Jiangsu Coastal Development Group, thoroughly implementing the arrangements of the provincial coastal region high-quality development work conference to achieve mutual benefits and common development across broader fields and wider scopes. Zhou Bin, Party Secretary of the Yancheng Municipal Committee of the CPC, and Zhang Mingkang, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor, met with Xu Feng, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Jiangsu Coastal Development Group, and Zhou Jinyang, General Manager and Deputy Party Secretary, along with their delegation. Both sides jointly witnessed the signing ceremony. Wu Wei, Deputy Party Secretary and Head of the United Front Work Department, presided over the event.

Zhou Bin and Zhang Mingkang expressed gratitude to the Jiangsu Coastal Development Group for its long-term support in promoting Yancheng’s high-quality development and briefly introduced the city. They emphasized that the Jiangsu Coastal Development Group, as a main force in Jiangsu’s marine economy development, shares a solid foundation, immense potential, and promising prospects for collaboration with Yancheng. They expressed hope that the signing would strengthen all-around cooperation, pool resources, expand openness, and deepen cooperation in areas such as marine economy and wetland conservation, jointly driving high-quality development. Yancheng will fully implement the agreement, continue providing high-quality service guarantees, and fully support the group’s development in the city.

Zhang Mingkang and Zhou Jinyang, representing respective side, signed the strategic cooperation agreement. Relevant counties of Yancheng also signed project agreements with subsidiaries of the Jiangsu Coastal Development Group.
