On Feb 27, Yancheng and Envision signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Nanjing. Governor Xu Kunlin met with Zhang Lei, chairman of Envision, and attended the signing ceremony.

Xu Kunlin expressed his gratitude to Envision for its long-term contribution to the economic and social development of Jiangsu. Xu said that accelerating the planning and construction of a new energy system and improving the green and low-carbon development mechanism are major deployments made at the Third Plenary Session of the 20^th CPC Central Committee. At present, Jiangsu is actively seizing opportunity of “dual carbon”, speeding up energy structure transformation, energy technology innovation, and energy industry development, and vigorously implementing the three major projects of “green electricity into Jiangsu”, “green electricity into the industrial parks” and “green electricity into the enterprises” to comprehensively enhance the green presence of economic and social development. As a leading enterprise in Jiangsu wind power equipment and energy storage industry, Envision needs to continue to increase R&D investment, constantly push forward breakthroughs in key technologies, empower the growth of upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain and supply chain, jointly build and share carbon footprint database, and  promote green and low-carbon development.

Envision has good cooperation foundation with Yancheng. According to the agreement, our city and Envision will jointly explore the utilization of green electricity to make green hydrogen, ammonia and methanol and sustainable aviation fuel, and create a new demonstration of “one sea-area for multi purposes”, a new model of international maritime energy cooperation, and a new highland for global green industry gathering. At the same time, aiming at the global market, we will introduce a group of Fortune 500 and multinational enterprises with global influence, and build an global-market-oriented zero-carbon industry and trade area.
