On April 10, Zhou Bin, Party Secretary of the CPC Yancheng Municipal Committee, conducted a special research on optimizing the business environment. He emphasized the need to earnestly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions and instructions on optimizing the business environment. Taking further comprehensive deepening of reform as the driving force, Yancheng should create a first-class business environment that is market-oriented, law-based and internationalized. Continuously stimulate the internal driving force of the private economy, enabling all kinds of business entities to have great potential and achievements in this fertile land of Yancheng.

The China-Korea (Yancheng) Legal Service Industrial Park was rated as a typical case of a law-based business environment in the province last year. Zhou Bin visited the window area and functional area to learn about the introduced law firms, legal service institutions, and the notarization matters and arbitration cases that have been carried out. He also had video exchanges with lawyers from Hong Kong, Macao and abroad, listened to their opinions and suggestions on relevant work in Yancheng, and encouraged the park to “bring in” more high-end legal service institutions and legal talents, so as to create a first-class legal service highland based in Yancheng and serving the whole area of Yangtze River Delta. It is necessary to actively “go global” and provide overseas legal services, and safeguard enterprises’ “going global” with high-level foreign-related rule of law.

During the research, Zhou Bin stressed that the whole city should fully implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the Symposium on Private Enterprises. Establish the concept that “the environment is productivity and service is competitiveness”, and implement various policies to help enterprises relieve difficulties without fail. Resolutely remove all kinds of obstacles, build a cordial and clean government-business relationship, continuously polish the business brand of “Yancheng at your service” (Yancheng’s efficient service brand), further stimulate the creativity of the whole society and market vitality, and shape new driving forces and advantages for high-quality development.
